On Saturday, August 29, 2026, members of the Uganda Bikers Association came together alongside visiting Kenyan riders for the East Africa Prayer Day in Kampala. While the gathering centered around fellowship and spiritual support, it also marked the launch of a new initiative focused on men’s well-being and open dialogue.
Held at Coffee At Last, the evening officially introduced a monthly men’s mental health awareness space created specifically to give riders and men a safe platform to speak candidly about life, mental stress, and mutual support.

A Safe Space for Real Conversations
Beyond the adrenaline of the open road, male riders often face unseen burdens in silence. The theme of the evening—“Men, Let’s Talk”—was designed to break down social barriers and encourage brothers on two wheels to look out for each other mentally and emotionally.
- Inclusive Ground Rules: The initiative operates under a simple pledge: no religion, no color, no social status—just men showing up to listen and support one another.
- Cross-Border Brotherhood: Having Kenyan riders present for the East Africa Prayer Day emphasized the shared challenges and strong sense of community that extends across East African borders.
- Ongoing Engagement: The meetup served as the inaugural session for a recurring monthly gathering aimed at normalizing open mental health discussions among men.
Riding Together, Supporting Together
Events like the East Africa Prayer Day highlight how motorcycle communities across the region are evolving into strong support networks. By combining prayer, fellowship, and actionable conversations around mental health, the riding fraternity continues to demonstrate that true strength lies in standing—and speaking—together.
